This certification is another way to be aptly qualified to help families and individuals who are “Dementia Disturbed.” This certification is through the National Association of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP LLC) which is the Global Leader in Dementia Education and Certification for Healthcare Professionals. This could mean someone was recently diagnosed with Dementia and they are looking for directions or it could mean someone who has been diagnosed with Dementia for multiple years. “Dementia Disturbed” also correlates with people who have Dementia run in their family and they want to make sure to properly prepare, years before the possible diagnosis.
